Independent financial advisers
What do independent financial advisers do?
Exactly what it ‘says on the tin’. We give independent financial advice (in individual areas such as pensions advice) and offer a comprehensive financial planning service to help you to:
- Manage your financial affairs in order to achieve your personal goals and ambitions
- Maintain your personal and family lifestyle throughout your lives, without fear of ever running out of money
- Grow, manage and retain your wealth

Financial Planning
We produce a financial plan and then recommend financial products that are suitable for your needs from all of the market offerings. We do not represent an insurance company or bank and we are fully regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and thereby meet the strict qualification and competence requirements they have.
What’s so special about your service?
We offer life planning as part of our service to our small business owners, millionaire and wealthy retired clients. This quarterly service is used to monitor your personal and financial goals to help ensure you meet your goals and objectives. We proactively manage any investment portfolio you have set up through us to build and preserve your wealth and we regularly deliver tax advice so you can make some tax savings.
How do I pay for this service?
We only offer a fee-based financial planner and financial advice service, rather than commission, because we believe it gives you the best independent financial advice and service. The fee is a ‘transparent’ fee. You will know exactly what we will charge and what we are charging for before you decide to proceed. This system has worked very well for us and our clients and indeed now FSA rules state that all independent financial advisers must offer their clients the option to pay for advice by fee as an alternative to commission.
Depending on the complexity of the advice that you need and the products that wish to take up, paying a fee for the advice can work out cheaper than paying commission. We believe it is the best way of ensuring that the advice you receive is impartial without incentives for the independent financial adviser to recommend a certain product.
How do I know I’m getting good advice?
As independent financial advisers, we are regulated by the FSA. You can therefore be assured that we meet – and in fact exceed – the current minimum qualification requirements. With more than 15 years of experience advising wealthy clients, we are well placed to meet your needs. We also offer proactive investment advice and investment management.
